This is my CCR interview for my horror film "The Date". This interview interview answers questions including the process and outcome of our final project film. It reflects how my experience throughout the film making process was and other key factors.

   First scene- During this scene we will be filming the guy and the soon to be ex arguing back and forth on the phone. This will be taken place in two different settings. The cuts will be going back and forth between the two of them on the phone. Second scene- The next scene will be filmed in a room and the main actress will be on her computer doing her school work. She will have headphones in. She's all upset so her bestfriend that is with her at the moment tries to cheer her up by bringing in ice cream but she pushes it away. Genre research blog 3 - Suspense

  In suspense the camera movements are very important. Tilt is a very important camera movement in suspense. It shows the emotions in the film, by creating a questioning emotion through the screen. This allows the audience to feel the suspense from the film and the characters. Another camera movement used in a suspense film is zooming in. This shows the emotions of a character, which can create suspense for the viewer. Lighting is also important in a suspense film. Low-key lighting creates a dark tone that may make the audience concerned of what may happen. Camera angles often used in suspense are over the shoulder and close up shots. The over the shoulder angle creates a tension in the film, it makes the audience aware of what is happening to both characters. This will increase the suspense of the film for the audience. Genre research: Drama and Thriller

  Drama is another genre me and my group are interested in. The drama genre keeps us entertained. The drama keeps the characters in the dark. But keeps the viewers in the light and brings us, the audience, a world of insight and assurance. Even if we watch a disaster, we believe like we live more deeply through a character's heightened interactions, because not only is time compressed, but action and sense happen concurrently. The common lighting in this genre is low key lighting. The angles in the drama genre consist of wide angle, long shot, close up, extreme close up, two-shot, and over the shoulder. Also seen in this video is the common camera movements. The most common  mis-en-scenes are décor, lighting, costumes and makeup. Overall, we like how the drama genre is more enhanced.
