Planning Blog: Music Video

  The song we are using for our music video is "you belong with me". Since this music video has to include a female and male one of us are going to dress up as a man. So we would need to get props to dress up each actor. We could use things like hoodies, dresses, hats, jewelry and makeup. Other props in our music video would be a car, iPhone, clock, led lights, and just little things that would be around a house. For the costumes each actor will dress up differently and accordingly to their role. One of us will dress up like a guy and at first wear a hoodie and basketball shorts. We will put makeup on her to make it seem as if she was a boy. We could use black eyeshadow and put it on her face so it looks like she has facial hair. Then we will do her hair. We can tie it up and put it in the back and cover it up with a hat. We can pull out pieces and then pin it to the side to get that Justin Bieber look. Genre Research blog 1-

  The three genres we would like to research is the horror genre, thriller genre, and drama genre. We want to research these because I believe these genres will best fit our film. The main genre I would like do is the horror film. This is because its very popular. Many people enjoy watching horror films because its interesting and fun to watch. We also did this genre last year so we are familiar with it. Our film is supposed to be suspenseful and give the audience anxiety while watching it. Its supposed to shock them and create fear. In our pitch it talks about the how a person is getting followed. This should make the audience in fear and create tension. Another genre we would like to research is thriller. This is very similar to the horror genre. This genre are defined by moods they elicit. They give the audience heightened feelings of suspense, excitement, surprise, anticipation and anxiety. We began by seeing a short video, 9. It was barely approximately ten minutes long and contained no conversation. When I originally saw the movie, I expected there to be some dialogue. Doing or possessing would considerably improve the quality of this short film. It would not only make it better, but it would also make it easier to follow the plot. Throughout this brief film, there were several instances when I had no idea what was going on. Throughout the film, I had no idea what was going on or what the plot was. Without any conversation, it was difficult to follow. To figure out what was going on, I had to rely on observing the characters' body language.
