 This weekend we're supposed to start filming our video. Our video I think can be filmed in one or two days total.  We bought the walkie talkies and our props for the film. We're going to film at Ella J's house on Saturday afternoon. We are going to set Ella's house up just how we want it for the scenes. If we have enough time we are going to go to Paige's job to film after. Hopefully Paige's restaurant isn't too busy so we can film smoothly.  Also we can only film at Paige's if the sun hasn't completely set yet. But we can only Allison agreed to help us and we might even have our other friend Sophia in it as-well. Sophia might be an extra in the film or she might just help us film and set up. We're keeping the people helping us limited because of Covid. But we are all friends and see each-other quite often so it will be safe. Ella J has a professional camera we might use to film our video. I hope we can use it because I feel that will really bring our video to the next level. Then we could just download the video's to a computer and edit on I-movie. I hope we get to film this weekend or at least get started. We don't really want to have to film over spring break so we're hoping to be done before then. I feel like waiting a little gave us more time to memorize our lines and be comfortable with the script. I'm thrilled to see the final film all together. I'm also hoping everything goes well and there aren't too many obstacles to overcome.

  In suspense the camera movements are very important. Tilt is a very important camera movement in suspense. It shows the emotions in the film, by creating a questioning emotion through the screen. This allows the audience to feel the suspense from the film and the characters. Another camera movement used in a suspense film is zooming in. This shows the emotions of a character, which can create suspense for the viewer. Lighting is also important in a suspense film. Low-key lighting creates a dark tone that may make the audience concerned of what may happen. Camera angles often used in suspense are over the shoulder and close up shots. The over the shoulder angle creates a tension in the film, it makes the audience aware of what is happening to both characters. This will increase the suspense of the film for the audience. Genre research: Drama and Thriller

  Drama is another genre me and my group are interested in. The drama genre keeps us entertained. The drama keeps the characters in the dark. But keeps the viewers in the light and brings us, the audience, a world of insight and assurance. Even if we watch a disaster, we believe like we live more deeply through a character's heightened interactions, because not only is time compressed, but action and sense happen concurrently. The common lighting in this genre is low key lighting. The angles in the drama genre consist of wide angle, long shot, close up, extreme close up, two-shot, and over the shoulder. Also seen in this video is the common camera movements. The most common  mis-en-scenes are décor, lighting, costumes and makeup. Overall, we like how the drama genre is more enhanced.
