My group was supposed to film this past weekend but we didn't find the time for all of us to be there. We knew we needed a few hours to perfect our film. We didn't want to rush it or have it turn out bad either. So we decided to wait and not do it then. We are planning on finishing memorizing our lines and preparing the timing and props this week. We also have to make sure the timing is right for our outdoor scenes. The lighting is going to be very important and that goes with the timing. This weekend my group and I are going to film the scenes that take place at Ella's house. We got permission from her parents that we could come and film there. We're not sure if we're going to film the parts at Paige's job this weekend since we're not sure how busy it'll be. Hopefully we can find time after we finish at Ella's to stop by Paige's job and see how busy it is. We also need to buy the props this week. Our friend Allison has agreed to be in our film as one of the friends. We're very grateful that she decided to help us out since we needed more people. She will need to memorize her lines for this weekend as-well. I hope our filming goes well and smoothly. I don't think anything will go wrong since we all work well together. The worst that could happen is if it decides to be stormy all weekend. As of right now it should be nice out so hopefully it'll stay like that. I'm excited to see how our film ends up turning out.

  In suspense the camera movements are very important. Tilt is a very important camera movement in suspense. It shows the emotions in the film, by creating a questioning emotion through the screen. This allows the audience to feel the suspense from the film and the characters. Another camera movement used in a suspense film is zooming in. This shows the emotions of a character, which can create suspense for the viewer. Lighting is also important in a suspense film. Low-key lighting creates a dark tone that may make the audience concerned of what may happen. Camera angles often used in suspense are over the shoulder and close up shots. The over the shoulder angle creates a tension in the film, it makes the audience aware of what is happening to both characters. This will increase the suspense of the film for the audience. Genre research: Drama and Thriller

  Drama is another genre me and my group are interested in. The drama genre keeps us entertained. The drama keeps the characters in the dark. But keeps the viewers in the light and brings us, the audience, a world of insight and assurance. Even if we watch a disaster, we believe like we live more deeply through a character's heightened interactions, because not only is time compressed, but action and sense happen concurrently. The common lighting in this genre is low key lighting. The angles in the drama genre consist of wide angle, long shot, close up, extreme close up, two-shot, and over the shoulder. Also seen in this video is the common camera movements. The most common  mis-en-scenes are décor, lighting, costumes and makeup. Overall, we like how the drama genre is more enhanced.
