Pitch #1: 

This film is more of a mystery genre. A group of girls download an app to start talking to guys because they are tired of being single. One of them ends up going on a date with a guy they matched with even though her friends said not too because he was giving off weird vibes. After the date, the girl disappeared.


Pitch #2:

There’s a guy who is in need of money, he asks one of his drug dealers for money so he can supply himself with food and water. The guy would pay him back later on during the month so he has time to earn the money he owns him. After a couple weeks the drug dealer doesn’t hear from him and the guy doesn’t pick up the calls. The drug dealer finds his house and tries to rob him by breaking into his home. When he breaks into the guy's house he finds the guy and puts him at gunpoint and makes him give his money back that he loaned. The guy doesn’t have the money so the drug dealer reloads his gun and it becomes silent. 




We picked these pitches because they are interesting and action filled. They are exciting and fun. We are picking pitch 1 for our final pitch.

Research Blog: Music Video

  The song we chose is a pop song written by Taylor Swift, it was released in 2009. The song is a love story about a type of out-of-reach love. In the original music video it shows an average girl comparing herself to a more popular girl. She realizes that the guy she likes deserves a lot better than the popular girl and believes she can appreciate and care for him more. Through-out the song even though she is naming all the materialistic differences between them, she always comes back to the fact that her, the "average" girl will always understand him more. The music video has a girl-next-door type of vibe,   y ou like this guy who you have for your whole life, and you know him better than she does but somehow the popular girl gets the guy every time. We want our video do give off the same message but in a way that makes it our own. We feel like this song is really relatable and helps people realize that you don't need to popular to get the guy.  For this project it did not take me very long to make the decision of who I would like to work with. The groupmates I will be working with are Paige Miranda, Daniel Miller,  and Lucas Di Campli. Last year I worked with Paige and a few other people. Lucas was my friend but he had a different group last year. Paige, Lucas, and I have all been good friends since freshman year. We all have good chemistry and I know we will work well together. Paige and I had a very smooth and easy time working together last year and we never ran into any problems. Last year I was very pleased with how well everything went and the grade we received from Cambridge. Even though we are all friends and know how to have a good time together, we also know when it is time to focus. We know the expectations for this year and are ready to work hard and efficiently together.
