Intro Blog Music Video

 When I heard about the music video project it sounded quite fun and exciting. I chose to work with Paige Miranda and Ella Jackson. This project seems like the perfect opportunity to be really creative and have some fun. Ella and Paige are my friends outside of school so I knew we got along. They are both quite hard workers as-well . I feel like us working together will be a good mixture of fun and hard work. We will be able to bounce ideas off of each-other and pick the perfect ideas for our video. Also were not afraid to say if we don't like an idea the other person has. I am pretty excited to start working on this project and see what we can bring to the table. The song we chose was " You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift. This song came up on a TikTok video the other day and it's been stuck in my head ever since. I thought it would be great choice for our song. Especially since most kids our age have grown up listening to this song it's a fun little throwback. No mater what mood I'm in whenever this song comes on I always need to jam out and sing like there's no tomorrow. There is already so many idea's popping into my head about this video. I feel we have a huge array of different approaches we can take for this video. I'm ready to start brainstorming idea's with my group and figure out a plan for this project.

Research Blog: Music Video

  The song we chose is a pop song written by Taylor Swift, it was released in 2009. The song is a love story about a type of out-of-reach love. In the original music video it shows an average girl comparing herself to a more popular girl. She realizes that the guy she likes deserves a lot better than the popular girl and believes she can appreciate and care for him more. Through-out the song even though she is naming all the materialistic differences between them, she always comes back to the fact that her, the "average" girl will always understand him more. The music video has a girl-next-door type of vibe,   y ou like this guy who you have for your whole life, and you know him better than she does but somehow the popular girl gets the guy every time.  For this project it did not take me very long to make the decision of who I would like to work with. The groupmates I will be working with are Paige Miranda, Daniel Miller,  and Lucas Di Campli. Last year I worked with Paige and a few other people. Lucas was my friend but he had a different group last year. Paige, Lucas, and I have all been good friends since freshman year. We all have good chemistry and I know we will work well together. Paige and I had a very smooth and easy time working together last year and we never ran into any problems. Last year I was very pleased with how well everything went and the grade we received from Cambridge. Even though we are all friends and know how to have a good time together, we also know when it is time to focus.
